Exhibit Niagara was established  in 2006 by group of outgoing and like-minded people  for the presentation and collection of modern and contemporary art and all forms of human creativity. The first exhibition was officially opened on 25 May 2007 in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.

Since its opening the Exhibit Niagara has rapidly established itself as a significant and dynamic presence in the Canadian and international arts arena. It is widely admired by its peers throughout North America for the range and relevance of its exhibitions, for its innovative use of its growing collections, for its award-winning education and community program  and for its visitor-centered ethos and facilities.

Current goals are concentrated on involving talented children and young adults with physical disabilities and life-threatening illnesses, who otherwise would receive little recognition and support in the fields of visual and performing arts and sports. The goal is to involve children with physical disabilities and life-threatening illnesses and lead them towards the fulfillment through expression of artistic ability and physical activities, which transcends human development and gives them a chance to shine.
